Account Manager (Eindhoven)

About the position

Due to the strong growth of the organization of our client, we are searching for an Account Manager for their existing (international) customers. In this role, with a strong focus on the German market, you are the contact person for your customer portfolio. The customers expect a sparring partner, an advisor and therefore our client expects optimal customer satisfaction and further development of these existing accounts.
Your activities as an Account Manager will include:

Drawing up a Sales plan in cooperation with the Manager Sales EU Accounts;
Maintaining customer relations (telephone, video calls and visits);
Advising the customer on materials, product groups and/or services;
Preparing, issuing and following up quotations with input (calculation) from the project office;
Making analyses and providing reports at customer level.

In addition, our client expects you to follow market developments closely and to be able to translate customer wishes into suitable offers, taking into account the applicable guidelines and regulations. You think along with them about pricing strategies and you know how to convince your customers of this. By nature you are a connector and you know how to manage expectations correctly. Of course they also expect you to achieve your commercial goals by initiating the right activities. You discuss technical challenges and the progress of the projects with your colleagues from the project office.

 

What are our requirements?

To be successful in this versatile and responsible (international) role you have at least:

A Bachelor work and thinking level, education preferably in a commercial or a technical field;
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in the field of account management or comparable role;
Sales experience in a technical (production) environment;
Good command of MS Office and ERP systems;
Good command of Dutch (preferred), English and German;
Experience within the High Tech and/or packaging industry is a strong advantage (not a must have!).
