About the position

As an Account Manager you are responsible for managing relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met, and acting as a liaison between customers and our clients organization. This role is critical in maintaining customer satisfaction, driving sales, and fostering long-term partnerships. In this position, with a strong focus on the European market, you are the point of contact for your customer portfolio. You are their sparring partner and advisor.

You follow market developments and to be able to translate customer wishes perfectly into suitable offers, you take into account applicable guidelines and regulations. You think along with pricing strategies and know how to substantiate this in a convincing way with customers. You are a connector by nature and know how to manage expectations correctly. You are able to achieve commercial goals by initiating the right activities.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
    Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and issues
    Understand client needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements
  1. Sales and Revenue Growth:
    Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and service
    Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
    Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit
  1. Project Management:
    Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and service
    Monitor project progress and manage client expectations
    Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle
  1. Reporting and Analysis:
    Prepare regular reports on account status and performance
    Analyze client data to identify trends and areas for improvement
    Provide feedback to internal teams to improve processes and offerings
  1. Customer Support:
    Address client complaints and provide appropriate solutions
    Ensure that clients receive high-quality customer service

    Basic understanding of the products or services offered by the company


Your profile

Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferably commercial / technical education;
Effective communication skills with proficiency in Dutch and English, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels of the organization;
Preferably 3-5 years of experience in sales, customer service or a related field;
Preferably work experience from industrial packaging industry or a technical environment;
Proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions;
Capability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions and strategies.

DIRECT contract with our client;
An attractive salary based on your work experience (we do not want to miss any candidate and therefore our client did not mention a maximum range for this role);
8% holiday allowance and 30 vacation days;

Travel allowance of € 0.23 per kilometer ;
