Quality Engineer

About the position and your tasks

As a Quality Engineer you have a very central position within the organization and your activities will include:

Analyzing, assessing and registering external and internal complaints (strong emphasis on analysis);
Structured problem solving through various tools (including Six Sigma, 8D reporting, 5S and Control plan);
Initiating and realizing improvement projects within the entire organization including production, logistics and purchasing;
Optimizing and continuously improving instructions and procedures on the work floor;
Maintaining our quality system.

In addition, we expect you to be frequently on the work floor to ensure correct compliance with procedures, perform internal audits and evaluate/report the results obtained. You communicate directly with the customer when it comes to quality issues and improvement initiatives.

Job requirements

MBO+/HBO work and thinking level;
Some years of work experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing or high-tech industry;
Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
Knowledge of and experience with the Office package, more specifically Excel;
Knowledge of and experience with ISO 9001:2015;
Knowledge of and experience with Power BI;
Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems (ISAH);
Knowledge of and experience with various Quality tools such as Lean Six Sigma, 5S workplace standardization, 8D reporting and control plan.

In addition, we expect you to be able to read and interpret a technical drawing correctly and you have a strong affinity with legislation and regulations in the field of health and safety environment.

You are stress resistant and work in a structured manner;
You have a helicopter view.
