About the position

As an Application Engineer, you are the driving force behind the online Service Center Portal and act as a key user for ERP system. You will translate the needs of various teams and customers into functional designs for the Portal and ensure smooth system operations. You are the key link between users and technical specialists. You work on a longtime roadmap with the management and act as the connecting factor between users and technical specialists/ developers. This is pretty much a solitary and stand-alone position, you report directly to the Operations Manager Cleaning.

Your responsibilities

Online Portal:

Gather requirements from Management, Operations, Sales, and customers worldwide and translate this into functional designs;
Collaborate with external developers for maintenance and development;
Implement and test system changes;
Detect and resolve errors (e.g., master data and status errors);
Create training materials and coach colleagues;
Communicate with stakeholders and work on a long-term roadmap.

Our client works with a global portal and is extremely important at multiple plants. Advancements need to be followed up at management level.

ERP (Isah) Key User:

Ensure a good fit between business processes and systems;
Implement and test system changes;
Identify and rectify errors;
Assist users with (new customer) requests;
Create and conduct training sessions;
Work on document modifications, SOP’s and work instructions.

Job requirements

At least MBO degree in Industrial Engineering, ICT, IT Management or a related field;
Preferably 2+ years of experience in production/ logistics environments;
Experience with ERP, WMS, MES, or web-based inventory control systems;
Strong affinity with IT and business processes;
Fluent in English with basic knowledge of Dutch;
No-nonsense attitude and a proactive mindset;
Programming experience is a plus but not required.

You possess strong analytical skills and are able to think in processes. You easily understand systems and complex websites. For this role, we require you to work on-site, we’re looking for someone who lives in the Netherlands.
