About the position

Are you ready to make an impact on large-scale, cutting-edge systems? As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be contributing to our client’s Farm-out projects, delivering solutions that integrate seamlessly into complex high-tech environments.

You will be part of a collaborative team that works from the Eindhoven headquarters, the client’s location, and remotely. This hybrid setup offers both flexibility and hands-on interaction with the latest technology.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
Developing software interfaces for communication and data exchange between software components;
Implementing algorithms and drivers for high-performance systems;
Troubleshooting and resolving software issues with innovative solutions;
Designing and developing graphical UI applications;
Conducting rigorous testing using GMock, simulated environments, and test automation tools.

Your tasks and responsibilities are

Design, implementation and verification of subsystems, modules and components;
Problem solving and debugging;
Write high quality, robust, structured code and design;
Participate in meetings (e.g. stand-up, sprint planning, retrospective, design/architectural sessions) and share your thoughts and ideas to help move the project forward;
Sparring partner for peers and stakeholders inside and outside the team;
Code review & guidance of (junior) engineers.

Required Skills

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in (applied) Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Physics and/or Mathematics;
You have at least 5+ years of experience in software development in the high-tech domain using C++ and preferably are proficient in Python and C;
You are familiar with methodologies and techniques such as O.O. programming, Unit Testing, UML, Design Patterns, TDD/BDD and Agile;
You have an excellent command of English (both oral and written), knowledge of the Dutch language is a big plus;
Living in the Netherlands (or willing to relocate) and fluent in the English language.
