Hardware Engineer

About the position

As a Hardware Engineer you will be part of a multidisciplinary project team within the engineering department consisting of engineers in the fields of hardware, embedded software, FPGA and LabVIEW. The activities vary from specifying, designing, realizing up to and including the commissioning of electronics. This position is available for engineers with several years of relevant work experience, who are looking for a versatile job and who have a very high quality awareness.

Your profile and skills

A completed Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field;
Minimum 3+ years relevant work experience in hardware design;
Knowledge of schematic drawing and PCB design in Altium, OrCAD/Allegro and/or Mentor is a plus;
Knowledge of simulation tooling;
Knowledge of Signal Integrity Analysis;
Affinity with analog electronics and/or embedded software is a plus;
An accurate and pro-active attitude;
Good communication skills, both within the development team and externally towards customers;
A team player with a do-mentality who can also work independently;
Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
Eager to learn;
Living in the Eindhoven region or willing to move there.

Our client is a high-tech company, consisting of about 100 intelligent engineers in The Netherlands office, who come from the Hardware and Embedded field. Projects that this company works on are hardware and (embedded) software related. This includes the latest techniques in radar systems to catch speed devils, new battery-powered tools that may be needed during liberation operations, design of a flow meter for an environment with radiation, etc. All in all, a high-tech company with very challenging projects where you as engineer works together in a close-knit team of very smart engineers!
