About the position

Our client is a leading packaging solutions provider specialized in the design and manufacturing of advanced packaging solutions for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. We are searching for a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our clients global team.

In this role you will play a pivotal role in the efficient and effective manufacturing of packaging designs for semiconductor oriented customers of our client. You will be responsible for our clients factories in the United States, Taiwan and The Netherlands with wood workshops, cleanroom bag conversion and cleanroom assembly capabilities. This role concerns a position in Eindhoven, the Netherlands (traveling is not needed). You will cooperate with the local General Manager and receive support from the global team which is responsible for work preparation.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Manufacturing and assembly strategy:
Develop and implement strategies for the manufacturing of semiconductor packaging designs. Determine the most efficient and cost-effective methods for production. Evaluate and decide which components or activities should be outsourced and collaborate with sourcing to select appropriate vendors. Document and log the manufacturing strategy in ERP system as a manufacturing BOM.

Project leadership:
Take the lead in projects implementing new manufacturing technology or logistical and packaging processes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate project timelines, resources and deliverables.

Technology Coordination:
Support the coordination on the technology axis ensuring appropriate allocation of NPI projects. This is done based on the strategic location of our clients sites and the technical capabilities.

Semiconductor packaging and Supply Chain Experience:
Possess and develop a strong understanding of semiconductor packaging and cleanliness requirements. Leverage knowledge to enhance packaging solutions and streamline the manufacturing and sourcing process. Collaborate with sourcing and vendors to grow a reliable supply chain.

Your profile and skills

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Packaging or a related field;
Experience with SolidWorks;
Prior experience in (for instance ASML) packaging, tooling or supply chain;
Prior experience with cleanroom cleaning and assembly;
Proficient in CNC-router programming and file preparation;
Demonstrated expertise in materials relevant to packaging including plywood, lumber, foam, general construction plastics, aluminum, and stainless steel;
Understand surface treatments applicable to materials used in packaging.

8% holiday allowance;
Maximum salary indication € 5.000 – € 5.200 gross per month, excluding holiday allowance;
