Operations Manager
On Time Engineers is searching for an Operations Manager for our client in Weert with also offices in Breda and Eindhoven. About the position
As an Operational Manager you will oversee all aspects of production and financial results, including profit and loss and working capital, across two locations in Weert and Breda. This role requires a pragmatic, hands-on leader with a strong background in production management, financial oversight, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Production Management: oversee and optimize all production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Financial Oversight: ,anage profit and loss statements, working capital, and budgeting processes. Ensure financial targets are met and implement cost-saving measures where necessary;
- Strategic Planning: co-develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and operational excellence. Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for expansion and improvement;
- Team Leadership: lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across both locations. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment;
- Operational Efficiency: ensure smooth operations by coordinating with various departments, including logistics, supply chain, and customer service. Address and resolve any operational issues promptly;
- Compliance and Safety: ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement;
- Customer Relations: maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
Key Performance Indicators
- Development in Quality of production, i.e. conformity to production standards, customer complaints and rejection rates;
- Development of networking capital in relation to production output (%) over time;
- Efficiency of production in terms of labour and materials (actual versus planned);
- EBITDA on monthly and quarterly basis;
- Health, environment and safety audit results.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus);
- Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in the industrial packaging or manufacturing sector;
- Sufficient financial acumen and experience managing profit and loss statements;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions;
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.

- Maximum salary indication of € 7.000 gross per month, excluding holiday allowance (this is still negotiable in some cases);

- Standard 30 days of paid leave;
- 8% holiday allowance;
- Travel reimbursement of € 0.23 per kilometer, up to 40 kilometers one way;
