Process Owner PCBA
On Time Engineers is looking for a Process Owner PCBA for one of our clients in the Eindhoven region. About the Position
As a Process Owner PCBA, you are fully responsible for the technical vision, performance, and further development of one or more production processes within a modern high-tech manufacturing environment. You are the connecting factor between production, engineering, quality, and process optimization. You determine the direction of the process, safeguard standards, and ensure the department is technically prepared for the future. This production line is your domain.
You work daily on improving processes, increasing efficiency, and solving structural production challenges. In this role, you will have significant freedom, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact on the shop floor.
You are the technical owner of this high-tech PCBA environment and take responsibility for quality, process stability, efficiency, industrialization, and continuous improvement. You oversee the bigger picture and know exactly where the process stands today and where it needs to grow in the future.
You work closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Team Coordinators, Projects, and Operations to successfully industrialize new products and continuously elevate the production environment to a higher level.
What will you do?
You are responsible for the technical management and further development of the complete PCBA production process within SMT and THT environments;
You develop and safeguard the technical vision and long-term strategy of the department;
You ensure stable, efficient, and high-quality production processes;
You initiate and guide improvement projects focused on continuous improvement, process optimization, yield, and efficiency;
You support Manufacturing Engineers with technical issues, process improvements, and industrialization projects;
You define and optimize standards regarding machine programming, work preparation, and production setup;
You analyze recurring technical disruptions and implement structural improvements;
You work closely with Engineering and Project Teams during the introduction of new products and processes;
You ensure knowledge retention, standardization, and accurate technical documentation;
You actively follow developments within electronics manufacturing and translate innovations into practical improvements within the organization.

What do you bring?
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or similar;
Several years of experience within SMT/THT PCBA manufacturing;
Strong technical knowledge of PCBs, components, and soldering processes;
Experience with industrialization, process development, and high-volume manufacturing;
Experience with machine programming and modern SMT production lines;
Strong analytical skills and experience with process optimization;
Experience with root cause analyses and continuous improvement methodologies;
You are technically strong, structured, and take ownership.

Salary range up to € 6.000 gross per month based on full-time employment (higher salary is negotiable depending on experience);
