About the position

We are searching for a skilled Tactical Buyer to join our clients dynamic team in Eindhoven. As a leading high tech packaging company,  the organization is committed to excellence in strategic sourcing and procurement, and they are seeking a proactive individual to contribute to their success. As a Tactical Buyer, you will play a key role in sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring the strategic acquisition of a diverse range of materials and products.

Your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Procurement: develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and market trends;
Supplier Management: identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal conditions and prices. Manage supplier relationships to ensure ongoing performance and compliance;
Contract Management: draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring terms and conditions meet organizational requirements and mitigate risks;
Market Analysis: conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate market trends, and inform procurement decisions;
Process Improvement: continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and drive value for the organization.

Job requirements

You have a Bachelor work and thinking level;
Experience in strategic procurement within a dynamic supply chain environment;
Knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, and contract management;
Experience in procurement of metal is big plus;
Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch.

Ability to collaborate effectively and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal conditions;
Flexibility in adapting to changing market conditions and sourcing strategies;
Analytical mindset to evaluate market trends, supplier performance, and procurement processes;

DIRECT contract with our client;
Maximum salary indication of € 5.000,- gross per month, excluding holiday allowance;

Collective pension scheme at Aegon with employer contribution of 50%;
