On Time Engineers is looking for a Technical Support Engineer for our client in Eindhoven. If you enjoy troubleshooting, precision work and helping customers get the best from their equipment, this role brings it all together: hands-on technology, customer contact and variety.

You will join our client directly, with an employment contract from the company itself. As its dedicated recruitment partner, On Time Engineers will guide you throughout the application process.

Your role

Join the Eindhoven service team of a supplier to the high-tech electronics industry in the Netherlands and Belgium. You will support machines and solutions for electronics assembly and inspection, working with leading equipment manufacturers and customers that develop or manufacture electronic products.

This is an opportunity to work independently while having experienced colleagues to turn to. You will combine practical technical work with customer visits, investigate faults and develop your knowledge of specialist equipment.

What you will do

Install and maintain equipment at customer sites in the Netherlands and Belgium
Analyse and resolve technical faults, working closely with equipment manufacturers
Advise and support customers on the use of equipment and software
Carry out technical work in Eindhoven, including testing printed circuit boards and assembling microelectronic components

You will combine work in Eindhoven with visits to customers and suppliers, mainly in the Benelux. Travel depends on projects and customer needs: some weeks you may be on the road two to three days, while other weeks involve little or no travel.

What do you bring

A completed MBO qualification (vocational education) or Bachelor’s degree (university of applied sciences) in Electronics, Mechatronics or a related field. Practically minded graduates are very welcome
A careful, quality-focused approach and the ability to carry out fine, precise technical work
Curiosity, a willingness to learn and a practical approach to solving problems
Confidence using computers and software, with the ability to learn new systems
A collaborative attitude and the ability to work well with colleagues
A category B driving license valid in the Netherlands
A willingness to travel to customers and suppliers, including occasional overseas trips and training
Good communication skills in English. Dutch is an advantage, but not a requirement
The ambition to build a long-term career in the Netherlands
